what’s in the culinary cards for you?

Tadka Tarot began as a basic spice cheat sheet that Ariha Setalvad passed around to friends and family, as 2020 saw many of us collectively (and cluelessly) turn to the kitchen for comfort and inspiration. Many spreadsheets, sleepless nights and culinary experiments later, it has evolved into a deck of cards that comes together to narrate chapters of the infinite Indian food story. One card at a time, Tadka Tarot helps you discover regional, micro-regional, familial, and individual cooking stories and techniques, while also getting answers to the little questions - like “what are those little black seeds?” and “is hing supposed to smell like that?”.
