All aboard the Oreo-coaster
Mondelez brought a heavyweight to the upper premium cookie category clash: the Cadbury-Dipped Oreo – a combination of the delicious, familiar flavour of Cadbury chocolate, and the crunch of the classic Oreo. Our brief was to to create an interactive experience that would help users actively discover the Cadbury-Dipped Oreo, while also driving trials for the new offering.
We decided to let users jump right in with a Virtual Reality game that immersed them in a rollercoaster adventure, set in a positively edible environment. Aboard the Cadbury Oreo coaster, players were tasked with capturing Oreo cookies and pieces of Cadbury chocolate and slamming them together to create as many Cadbury-Dipped Oreos as they could, whilst whizzing past chocolate trees and milk waterfalls on an Oreo themed ride.
