Mind matters, at Mpower

 

Mpower’s mission is to provide holistic care, interventions and treatments to ensure that individuals with mental concerns can lead meaningful and productive lives with the utmost respect and dignity.

In order to craft a brand identity for Mpower, we embarked on iterative rounds of sketching, client discussion and user surveys, in order to transform the logo from competing abstract concepts like "human connectedness" and "a place for therapy", to a single, cohesive design. The logo that we arrived at draws directly from the act of conversation between two equal partners. The clean, rounded letterforms convey a soft friendliness, while the palette is a gradient of relaxing blues, imparting the logo with a calming ripple effect.

Mpower’s brand identity manifested across digital channels, marketing collateral, the Mpower Minds centre and other physical locations, as well as various onground interventions and events, including Ride to Mpower, a cyclothon that saw thousands of Mumbaikars cycling across the city to #StampOutStigma and raise awareness about mental health.
